4Kids English club- terms and conditions

Registration for 4Kids English clubs is done by e-mail.

1. When you register your child in one of our clubs, we will reserve a place for him in the Fall and Spring of the school year. If your child does NOT wish to continue the course in the Spring, you can cancel the Spring term by sending a written cancellation to: fabiane.laube(ät).4kids.fi until the 1st of December. The cancellation for the Fall term, can be done by the parent him/herself through his/her own TIMMI-account 21 days before the start of the courses. No cancellations will be allowed after the start of the club lessons or in the middle of the term. If a cancellation is done under these circumstances, the parent must pay for the entire invoice sum.
    

2. Two invoices will be sent to you electronically: one for the Fall and one for the Spring term. The invoice can be paid in 2 installments. The parent or child’s caretaker agrees to pay the club’s invoice on the due date. If the invoice is not paid, your child’s place in the club could possibly be cancelled. The money for lessons to which your child does not attend (sickness, travelling or any other reason) cannot be refunded.
    

3. The length of the Fall term is 15 club lessons. The lessons will start on week 34 or 35 depending on the location.There will be no lessons on the Fall holiday week, “Syysloma”.
    

4. The length of the Spring term is 16 club lessons and the lessons will start on week 2 or 3. There will be no lessons during the skiing holiday week, “Hiihtoloma” (week 8), Easter “Pääsiäinen”, "Vappuaatto/päivä" neither on Helatorstai.
    

5. In daycare centers run by the city there will also be a rent fee, which will be added to the invoice. The price of the rent fee varies from 30 €-70 €/child/term depending on the amount of club participants and the size of the rented room. This extra fee is not seen in the TIMMI-registration system and it is added to the invoice, before it is sent to the customer. Such are the cases of: Masto and Kaivopuisto-daycares in Helsinkin and Viidakkorumpu daycare in Espoo.
    

6. A try-out lesson (1 lesson) is only allowed if the term has already started and there is room in the club. Please note that the try-out lesson costs 15,95€ and you will receive an invoice for it in case your child does not continue in the club
    

7. Each club takes place once a week on the time and day stated and has a duration of 45 minutes. The club teacher might change during the term, if there are changes in our schedule.
    

8.  New club participants are welcome during the entire term, provided that there is room the group (min. 7, max. 12 children). In this case, the invoice will be only for the lessons left in the term starting from the lesson, which your child joins in. If the minimum amount of participants (7 children) is not met, the club might be cancelled.

9. Age limit: the children in daycare centers must be between 3-6 year-olds and in schools 6-10 year-olds.
    

10. In case of sickness from one of our teachers, we will do our best to arrange a substitute. If no substitute is available and the lesson must be cancelled, this lesson will be covered some other time along the term. If it is not possible to arrange a cover lesson in the Fall, this lesson will be moved to the Spring term. In case your child does not continue in the Spring term, 4kids will return the missed lesson to your account (in this case, please inform us your bank account number at fabiane.laube (ät) 4kids.fi )
     

11. By registering your child to our club, you are giving 4Kids the rights to publish their pictures/videos/audios of the club in the 4kids website and 4kids-facebook page. (www.4kids.fi, www.facebook.com/4kidsclub). If you do not wish your child to appear in any of our pictures, please send us a written and signed notice to: 4Kids Kielikerhot Oy (Haikaranportti 6 A 15, 02620 Espoo). We will always inform in advance if a photo shooting is going to happen at your child’s club.
     

12. We will inform you once a week by e-mail what is being taught in our clubs. Any sudden lesson cancellation or other important information will be sent by text messages
